Cox Farms, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises and North America’s largest greenhouse operator, has partnered with Feeding America to combat food insecurity. Announced on January 15, 2025, this collaboration aims to distribute 3 million pounds of fresh produce annually to families in need across the United States and Canada.

Atlanta Community Food Bank is one of seven Georgia food banks that will likely receive produce donated by a new partnership between Cox Farms and Feeding America.

Steven Bradley, president of Cox Farms, emphasized the company’s dedication to community support and providing access to nutritious food.

“Cox Farms is committed to making a difference in the communities we serve, and our partnership with Feeding America reflects our mission to provide access to fresh, healthy food for people facing hunger,” said Steven Bradley, president of Cox Farms. “By leveraging our cutting-edge greenhouse technology and sustainable practices, we’re addressing food insecurity while donating nutritious produce like lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and peppers throughout the year. Together, we’re helping to nourish families and ensure they can lead healthier lives.”

“The movement to end hunger takes shared vision and dedicated partnerships,” said Erika Thiem, Feeding America’s Chief Supply Chain Officer. “Together with Cox Farms, we are providing more access to nutritious food, including fresh produce all year-round, to people facing hunger in communities across the country.”

Feeding America, through its extensive network of over 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, currently helps provide 5.9 billion meals annually to individuals facing hunger. This partnership with Cox Farms enhances their capacity to offer fresh, healthy food options to underserved communities.

This initiative aligns with Cox Enterprises’ broader mission to empower 34 million people to lead more prosperous lives by 2034, as part of their 34by34 Initiative. By donating millions of pounds of fresh produce, Cox Farms improves health and well-being in communities across North America.
