Representing The Peach State: Eight Former Georgia Bulldogs Are Heading to Super Bowl LIX

Eight former University of Georgia football players will compete in New Orleans in Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. Two players represent the Kansas City Chiefs, while six are on the Philadelphia Eagles roster.

Kansas City Chiefs:

Mecole Hardman Jr. (Wide Receiver): From Bowman, Georgia, played for Georgia (2016–2018). He scored last year’s game-winning Super Bowl touchdown.
Malik Herring (Defensive End): Forsyth, Georgia native, played for Georgia (2017–2020).

Philadelphia Eagles:

Jalen Carter (Defensive Tackle): Apopka, Florida, Georgia (2020–2022).
Nakobe Dean (Linebacker): Horn Lake, Mississippi, Georgia (2019–2021).
Kelee Ringo (Cornerback): Tacoma, Washington, Georgia (2020–2022).
Nolan Smith (Edge Rusher): Savannah, Georgia, Georgia (2019–2022).
Jordan Davis (Defensive Tackle): Charlotte, North Carolina, Georgia (2018–2021).
Lewis Cine (Safety): Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Georgia (2019–2021); joined the Eagles on January 8, 2025.
