Thousands of drivers and exotic car owners showed up to support a teen battling terminal cancer this month after it was revealed that his final wish was to have an exotic car show.
According to 11Alive.com, 15-year-old Zach Maxwell recently decided to stop treatment after enduring limb loss and grueling chemotherapy, wanting to spend the time he has left being a kid.
When Maxwell revealed an exotic car show as his final wish, his cousin put out a notice on social media, not sure anybody would show up.
The Woodstock, GA community ultimately filled a parking lot with more than 2,300 drivers.
“It proves there’s goodness in the world,” he said. “This proves there are so many good people in the world.”
“These people don’t even know us. And still, they came for Zach,” his mother said.
Zach took pictures with each driver, capturing a moment he and his family will remember. He thanked each driver for supporting his final dream.
