Through the Big Timers Foundation, Russell “Big Block” Spencer and Scott “the Doc” Barbour were able to take multiple kids from Atlanta to see an Atlanta Hawks game shortly before Christmas.
“As a youth coming from the hood, I’ve always wanted to attend sporting events but just financially couldn’t afford to,” Big Block said. “Now I’m blessed to provide this opportunity to this generation of youth through the BIG TIMERS and courtesy of the Atlanta Hawks!”
As explained by the Doc, they want to use their Big Timers Foundation “to bring people together and start offering solutions and getting the word out: no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, no matter what your situation is, there are people that have been there before and there’s a way out and we want to show you what that way is.”
