Ep 26 Stewart Cink – Living In the Moment And Helping Your Community

In this episode, professional golfer Stewart Cink joined the Doc and the Block podcast to discuss the struggles he overcame during his childhood to let him become a champion golfer.

Cink grew up in Florence, Alabama, and attended Bradshaw High School. After graduating in 1991, he attended Georgia Tech where he played golf until graduating in 1995. He turned professional that same year.

Cink began golfing as a child and was quickly successful. As a teenager, he began going down the wrong path while believing he could use his golf skills as a crutch to get through life. During the podcast, Cink explains how he got his life back on track and that he learned that “you cannot put all your eggs in a basket that has anything to do with performance.”
