Doc And The Block Holding First Annual Event For Children In September

The Doc and the Block podcast will be holding its first annual event for children in September.

The event will be held at the Foundry at Puritan Mill 916 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW Atlanta, Georgia 30318. It will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 1 PM.

As explained in a press release:

Doc and the Block (DNTB) is a podcast on a mission: Dr. Scott Barbour, an orthopedic surgeon, and Big Block Spencer, a rapper and music producer, have joined forces to reach middle school kids in at-risk communities. They show kids there are better ways to live their life -avoiding the pitfalls and dead ends of drugs, gangs, and crime.”

DNTB has interviewed NFL players, UFC greats, members of Congress, Governors, and celebrities, each telling their inspirational stories of what they overcame to reach and create their own story ot success.

Now they are taking their “no excuses” message to the community with their first- ever event in cooperation with their non-profit, The BigTimers Foundation.

Please join us in this amazing effort on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 1 PM. We will have speakers, leaders, mentors, great food, and music, and most importantly, we will have the kids there ready to be inspired.
