Bill Belichick And Atlanta Falcons May Make a Deal

According to ESPN, Bill Belichick is considering a head coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons. Belichick is considered by many to be the greatest National Football (NFL) League head coach in the league’s history.

See here for some background of Belichick’s stats and records from his 24 years with the New England Patriots. Belichick’s tenure “with the Patriots spanned a pair of mini-dynasties bridged together by himself and quarterback Tom Brady in what was the most successful partnership the league had ever seen.”

The NFL world became familiar with what has been described as “The Patriot Way,” which characterized an ethos of hard work and became “synonymous with winning.” Belichick’s teams won six Super Bowls − the most for any head coach − with the Patriots.

As reported, the Atlanta Falcons and Bill Belichick have expressed mutual interest in him becoming the team’s next head coach, according to ESPN insiders Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano.

It comes as the Falcons continue their search for their 19th head coach in franchise history after dismissing Arthur Smith last week. Belichick parted ways with Patriots a few days ago. “Belichick is reportedly looking for a talented, yet underachieving team. The Falcons may just fit the bill.” The Falcons have reportedly been interviewing multiple candidates to fill the head coach and assistant coach positions as well.
