Forget the résumé for a second. In Atlanta, one nonprofit is betting that how you carry yourself might matter more than what’s on paper.
And they’re teaching it to kids who need the edge most.
Meet the Elite Socialite Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Elite School of Etiquette.
Its mission: take underserved and underrepresented Atlanta-area youth and hand them the kind of polish usually reserved for country clubs and boardrooms.
The lineup reads like a finishing-school fantasy camp. Junior Cotillion: 10 weeks of social graces — and yes, the waltz — for middle and high schoolers.
Charm School: ballet, French, and refinement for young ladies.
Manly Manners: a summer crash course for young men in confidence, dressing sharp, and not embarrassing yourself at the dinner table.
Field trips round it all out, giving kids a taste of culture they might not otherwise get.
No ribbon-cutting. No big check. Just kids learning to walk into a room like they own it — a skill that could open more doors down the line than a straight-A report card ever could.
