This week, Doc & The Block speak with Rodney Smith Jr., founder of the nonprofit organization Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service, which provides free lawn care for the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans.
Rodney is also known for the “50 Yard Challenge,” where he motivates children to mow 50 free lawns in their communities to encourage youth involvement and giving back.
Rodney emphasizes teaching children the value of service, a positive work ethic, and how to be a productive member of society.
He is the very embodiment of the Big Timers’ spirit.
