DOC & THE BLOCK: From Knockout to Comeback — Cole Ferrell’s Journey [LISTEN]

On the latest episode of Doc & The Block, the guys sit down with MMA star Cole Ferrell to discuss the importance of bouncing back after life’s tough knock-out punches and the toll intense training can take on the mind and body.

Ferrell addresses his fastest (and most infamous) loss at the hands of bare-knuckle fighter Justin Watson during BKFC 69 on December 6, 2024. In what has been described as the fastest knockout in combat sports history, Watson dropped Ferrell with a single devastating overhand right just two seconds into the bout.

But that hasn’t stopped him.

Ferrell also discusses the toll training and preparation take on him and how it affects his family; “It’s an emotional rollercoaster,” he says.

Cole Ferrell is an American mixed martial artist known for his aggressive fighting style and confident persona. Competing primarily in the lightweight division, Ferrell has built a reputation in the regional fight circuit with an impressive early win streak. He trains out of Georgia and has often promoted himself as a future UFC star.
